We harvest, press and hand package all of our oil. We have a 1.5 ton/hour modern olive pressing mill which is FDA registered. Robert’s father and brother work full time in Albania to make sure that only selected olives are cold pressed to produce one of the best olives oils in the world.

Olive oil is rich in healthy monounsaturated fats and antioxidants, which may offer various health benefits, such as reducing inflammation, improving heart health and mood, and preventing strokes. Olive oil is widely used in cooking, especially in the Mediterranean diet, as well as in cosmetics, soaps and lamps. Olive oil comes in different grades, such as extra virgin, virgin, pure and refined, based on the quality, acidity and method of extraction. Extra virgin olive oil is considered the highest quality and has the most beneficial properties. Olive oil is usually yellow or golden in color, but some varieties may have a greenish tinge. Olive oil has a long shelf life and can be stored in a cool, dark place away from heat and light sources.

Life cycle of Olive cultivation 

Our Olives are grown in suitable climate and soils of Kurjan village, Fier, Albania. Fier is one of the highest olive producing regions in Albania, along with Berat and Vlora. Fier is known for its Kalinjoti cultivar of olive trees, which contributes to the olive oil sector of Albania. They are one of the most popular and widely distributed olives in the country, covering 50% of the total plantation area. They are used for both oil extraction and table consumption. They have a low phenolic content compared to other olive varieties, which means they have a mild flavor and less bitterness.Our olive oil is from Kalinjoti and Frantoio varieties.
